What: Three days of events on tackling environmental challenges
Where: The Vassar Institute for the Liberal Arts
When: November 14-16, 2024
Options: Register for only one or two days, or for all three days

Day 1: Thursday, November 14. Building Decarbonization for a Just Energy Transition
Day 2: Friday, November 15. Land Management and Conservation
Day 3: Saturday, November 16. Environmental Advocacy and Engagement

You will...
• learn about legal and policy innovations that move environmental action from theory to reality
• investigate the idea of "intentional activism"—starting where you are to meaningfully engage with the environment through your career, home, yard, and beyond
• find out how cities can build equity and justice into plans for community-wide energy transitions
• have the opportunity to tour the Preserve at Vassar and other environmental initiatives on campus to learn more about the work being done at the College

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month. Our monthly meetings are open to the public. You can join us at the Town Hall, or via zoom.
